Il Geko’s house is surrounded by Mediterranean shrubs, vineyards, 500 olive trees, fruit trees and many black and white fig trees.
The owner, Leonardo, lives and works in Caserta and Naples, but devotes most weekends, days off and all summer to the care of the vineyard, olive grove, fruit, walnut and hazelnut trees with the help of family, including Australian born Ella, who is fluent in English, and friends. Guests can enjoy the quality of organic products during their stay and have the possibility of buying wine and olive oil.
This is the right place to enjoy a peaceful atmosphere, the singing of birds and the scent of roses, jasmine, eucalyptus, laurel and the fruit blossom depending on the time of year of your visit.
You can freely walk through our land and pick our fruit and flowers. May is the month of fireflies, June is for oregano gathering, the second half of September is for being involved with picking grapes and making wine, and October and November is olive harvesting time.
Don’t forget suitable footwear for these activities.
